Today’s theme is simple: rest. Take 5, 10, 15 minutes, maybe even an hour, and allow your mind and body to rest.
There’s no practice video, but honestly, you don’t need me to tell you how to rest. You already know how to do that! If you need some inspiration, you can revisit some of the practices from earlier this week. On Sunday, we practiced heart-opening restorative poses, and on Tuesday, I offered some restorative inversions. You can also try one of these practices.
Journaling can also be restful. And today, I’ll offer you two prompts. The first is “my top 3 self-care practices are…” take time to list and describe each one. Our second prompt is a little more creative. Take a mental vacation and plan a restful long-weekend getaway. Where would you go? What would you do? What sort of treats would you allow yourself?
